The first type: exposed punched luminous characters, also called dot matrix luminous characters; usually punched in stainless steel or aluminum plates; using 9 centimeter round lamps or 37*37 square Most of them are lamps. Stainless steel is hard and has strong anti-corrosion, so it is better to be used outdoors. Aluminum plates are lightweight and corrosion-resistant, so these two materials are the choice for large characters on the roof.

The second category: acrylic luminous characters, also called flat luminous characters; it can be used in two ways, one is directly on the acrylic plate, the other is pasted with a transparent film to emit light, or a hole-shaped film to emit light. The latter two are mostly used by owners with diverse color requirements or long warranty periods.

It is recommended that the edges of flat acrylic luminous characters be stainless steel or aluminum plates. Only these two plates are more durable. Iron sheet will work, it will work, but it won’t take as long as stainless steel. Of course the price is different.
