(2) Characteristics of tempered glass:
①Increased strength: The mechanical strength, impact resistance, and bending strength of tempered glass can reach 4-5 times that of ordinary glass.
② Improved thermal stability: Tempered glass can withstand huge temperature differences without being damaged, and its ability to resist temperature changes is three times that of ordinary float glass of the same thickness.
③Improved safety: After the tempered glass is damaged by strong force, tiny obtuse-angled particles will quickly appear, thus ensuring maximum personal safety. Applications: Furniture, electronic and electrical industries, construction, decoration industries, bathrooms, cars, escalators, and other places where safety is particularly required and there are drastic changes in temperature. It can also be used as the original piece of insulating glass and laminated glass. The backboard is divided into PVC board and density board. PVC board is waterproof, moisture-proof and moth-proof. Contains flame retardant materials, safe to use, and lighter than density board. The density board is smooth and has good dimensional stability when the ambient temperature and humidity change.
