2、What is the difference between aluminum-plastic panels and PVC panels?

The differences between aluminum-plastic panels and PVC panels:

1. Aluminum-plastic panels

Aluminum-plastic composite panels are made of multiple layers of materials. The upper and lower layers are high-purity aluminum alloy panels, and the middle is a non-toxic low-density polyethylene (PE) core panel. A protective film is also pasted on the front. For outdoor use, the front side of the aluminum-plastic panel is coated with fluorocarbon resin (PVDF) coating, and for indoor use, the front side can be coated with non-fluorocarbon resin coating.

Aluminum-plastic composite panels can be used for building exterior walls, curtain wall panels, renovation of old buildings, indoor wall and ceiling decoration, advertising signs, display stands, and purification and dust-proof projects.

2. PVC board

PVC board is a board made of PVC with a honeycomb mesh structure in cross-section. It is a vacuum plastic-absorbing film used for various types of panels. Surface packaging, so it is also called decorative film and adhesive film, and is used in many industries such as building materials, packaging, medicine, etc.

Among them, the building materials industry accounts for the largest proportion, accounting for 60%, followed by the packaging industry, and several other small-scale application industries.

According to the degree of softness and hardness, it can be divided into soft PVC and hard PVC. According to the production process, it can be divided into PVC crusted foam board and PVC free foam board.

Construction technology of dry-hanging aluminum-plastic panels

(1) The laying out work is based on the actual center line of the civil construction and elevation points; the design of the facing is based on the axis of the building. The aluminum-plastic panel skeleton is composed of horizontal and vertical parts. The position lines of the vertical rods are first played, and then the anchoring points of the vertical rods are determined.

(2) Install the fixed connectors on the basis of laying out the wires, use electric welding to fix the connectors, and paint the welds with anti-rust paint twice. The connecting parts are welded and fixed with the embedded parts on the main structure. When there are no embedded iron parts embedded in the main structure, expansion bolts can be drilled in the main structure to install expansion bolts and fixed with connecting iron parts.

(3) Install the skeleton using welding method. Check the elevation and centerline position at any time during installation. At the same time, the cross-section connecting welds should be treated with anti-rust paint, and the fixed connectors should be covered with hidden inspection records including connectors. Weld length, thickness, location, embedding elevation, quantity, and embedding depth.

(4) Install the aluminum-plastic panel on the inner frame of the profile, first tap and mill the screw holes, and use rivets to fix the aluminum-plastic panel facings piece by piece to the profiled steel frame; the gap between the plates is 10~15㎜ and then inject silicone weather-resistant sealant; it is strictly forbidden to remove the packaging paper before installing the aluminum plate, and tear off the packaging protective film until it is completed; construct according to the direction indicated by the arrow of the aluminum-plastic plate.
